Information to Assist you in Completing your Online Visa Application

Before you complete your online visa application you should read all of the information on visas contained on this website, including our Visas Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS).
Under Documents Required you will find a list of the documents that you must submit to the relevant Irish Embassy/Consulate/Visa Office with your application.
While we endeavour to provide you with a comprehensive list of all supporting documentation you will require, a Visa Officer may request additional documents where necessary.
If you are applying to one of our Visa Offices in Abuja, Beijing, Cairo, London, Moscow or New Delhi you are advised to also check their websites for details of any further documentation which may be required by those offices.

You are also required to submit a recent passport sized photograph with your application. For more details, see Photograph Requirements.
All questions must be answered in English. Please be aware that if you provide false, fraudulent or misleading information or documentation, your application will be refused, without any right to appeal. Any future applications made by you will also be refused.
When you have completed your Online Application and clicked on the Submit button, you will need to print a Summary Sheet. This will give details of the office which will process your application. You will need to submit this Summary Sheet (signed and dated), along with your supporting documentation.
The website address of that office will also be shown and you should consult this for further information such as opening hours, visa processing fees, method of payment accepted, etc.

If you have fully or partially completed your online application please also give the name, date of birth, nationality, and passport number you have entered, and the Transaction Number which has been assigned to your application.
