In the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service, where the processing of large volumes of applications is involved, a balance has to be struck between the work involved in the processing of the applications on the one hand and answering queries in relation to when the applications will be processed, on the other.
While every effort is made to facilitate customer queries, the office believes that, when deciding on the allocation of resources, the balance should be in favour of processing applications. The visa email facility visamail@justice.ie is in operation and we encourage enquirers to use this facility regarding visa related matters.
It is open to persons making enquires in respect of visa matters to include in their email communication a contact telephone number. In certain circumstances a visa office representative may contact the enquirer to provide guidance or to seek further clarification.
