Report of the Legal Costs Working Group

The Legal Costs Working Group was established in 2004 and asked to look at the way in which legal costs are determined and assessed. The group reported to the Minister in November 2005. The report sets out the group's recommendations in relation to the replacement of the taxation of costs system with a new system of assessment predicated on the formulation of recoverable costs guidelines.
