Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality (Deputy Frances Fitzgerald): On 29 February 2016 an authorisation was granted to the claimant to apply to the High Court for compensation in accordance with the Garda Síochána (Compensation) Acts, 1941 and 1945.
