Deputy Richard Boyd Barrett asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality the income figures for the Property Services Regulatory Authority, PSRA, from property service licences per annum; if he will provide a breakdown of expenditure including staffing, operational costs and board members; if he will further provide a breakdown of the income and expenditure of the property services compensation fund; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality (Deputy Frances Fitzgerald): The Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) was formally established on 3 April 2012, pursuant to the provisions of the Property Services (Regulation) Act 2011. Details of the income and expenditure figures of the Authority per annum for the categories requested by the Deputy are set out in the following table. The Property Services Compensation Fund, which exists in order to compensate clients for losses arising from the dishonesty of property service providers, at present has a balance of approximately €2.8 million. No grants have been paid to date from the Compensation Fund.
