Minister for Justice and Equality (Deputy Frances Fitzgerald): In July 2015, the Government approved the drafting of the Criminal Justice (Victims of Crime) Bill which will transpose EU Directive 2012/29 establishing minimum standards on the rights, support and protection of victims of crime. The Bill is currently being drafted on a priority basis and it is my intention that it will be published as soon as possible.
