Apply for an Irish visa

You may need a visa to come to Ireland or to transit through on your way to another destination. It is your responsibility to make sure you have the right visa before you travel. Check if you need a visa.

Re-entry visas

If you are from a visa required country and have a valid Irish Residence Permit (IRP) or GNIB card, you will no longer require a visa to return to Ireland.

Children under 16 years of age are not issued with an IRP card and will require a visa to return to Ireland.
