Judgement of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of TH v Ireland

The Applicant complained that the length of the criminal proceedings was incompatible with the reasonable time requirement laid down in Article 6(1) of the Convention. The Court found a violation of Article 6(1) and Article 13 of the Convention and awarded €12,500 to the applicant, comprising €9,000 damages and €3,500 costs and expenses.
