IT Division

Functions of the Division

The Information Technology (IT) Division is responsible for the provision and support of IT solutions and services to the Department and to a number of agencies and decentralised offices as a shared service. We deliver the Department's IT infrastructure and support its innovation efforts with new systems.

The division also gives advice on IT matters and aims to promote joined-up systems.

 

IT Procurement

The IT Division's procurement is in accordance with national and EU public procurement guidelines.  Requests for tenders are published on eTenders.

 

Recruitment

IT Division staff are usually recruited through the Public Appointments Service. Questions about working in the Department’s IT Division should be directed to the Department’s Human Resources Division or to the Public Appointments Service.
