Financial Assistance to Voluntary Bodies Supported by the Probation Service

The Department of Justice and Equality, through the Probation Service, provides funding to voluntary bodies nationwide that  provide a range of services to offenders in local communities, for example:

• pre-industrial training and education
• offender management programmes
• residential accommodation
• drug and alcohol abuse treatment
